Whether you
join us as a member, professional, or business, at Family Squad you are no
longer one, but a part of the family. Our family understands that family structures continue to change as our society evolves. We strive to create, connect, and cultivate family values. We define family values as a mutual respect between all members of a family and a mutual consideration for the needs of all members of the family. Family values should remain and grow in strength for the
benefit of the children and individuals involved. Our system creates a
family of highly qualified professionals and businesses that believe in this. We welcome you into our family.
We
distinguish a family of pre-screened legal, financial, and mental health
professionals. We also
distinguish a family of businesses that provide any other services that are
often needed for the
demanding challenges of today's fast paced lifestyles. We arrange exclusive
offers and rates for our members to receive these services. Whether in need of an attorney, insurance agent, counselor, a cleaning crew,
credit repair, financial advice or health and beauty secrets, it is all right here.
We also offer educational workshops and social events to contribute to the
well being of the family and to help instill
family values within households.

Who are our current providers?

Maria has acquired first hand knowledge
and experience related to the challenges
of living a fast-paced single mother lifestyle while raising three children and holding a full
time job as a paralegal. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
from Florida International University
with a minor in Education and has completed various college master level
courses in social work policy. She also holds a certificate in Paralegal
Studies from the University of Miami and is a Certified Paralegal and
active member of the National Association
of Legal Assistants. On December 18, 2007 she was awarded the
Community Leader of the Year Award by theMinority Chamber of Commerce.
She has dealt with the legal system in regards to
personal family law matters. She has been represented by various attorneys and has
also represented herself. The issues she has had to deal with involve payment of
child support, enforcement of a final judgment of dissolution of
marriage, enforcement of a marital settlement agreement, voluntary
underemployment, family therapy, and many other family law related
issues. She has also had the opportunity to observe different styles and
tactics of family law attorneys. These personal events along with her
experience as a paralegal have allowed her to become very familiar with
the procedures and resources that are available in the area of family
law.
Maria believes that Collaborative Family Law should be implemented in all Family Courts for the benefit of children and families. Feel free to email your questions to Maria atmaria@joinfamilysquad.com.
